Who are we?

Knowledge Bridge Research Institute (KBERI) received a scientific and technological operating license and establishment as an Institute on March 5, 2024, according to Decision No. 552/ĐK-KHCN dated March 5, 2024, by the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Vietnam.

Knowledge Bridge Research Institute (KBERI) originated from Knowledge Bridge Network (KBN) which commenced activities on August 7, 2021, and received a scientific and technological operating license and establishment as an Institute on March 5, 2024, according to Decision No. 552/ĐK-KHCN dated March 5, 2024, by the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology. 

KBERI continues KBN’s legacy, focusing on connecting a community of scientists and intellectuals from various fields, sharing valuable knowledge and experiences from reputable researchers, supporting young researchers on their research journey. 

Currently, KBERI has Advisory Board (AB), and multiple Scientific Comittees (SC) to provide support across various fields including business, finance, marketing, psychology, education, community health, nanomaterials in biomedicine, semiconductors, energy, nuclear, wastewater treatment. 

KBERI is always a ‘bridge’ for sharing ‘knowledge’ and connecting scientists with lecturers, students from universities and colleges, and young enthusiasts of scientific research in Vietnam and around the world.  

KBERI provides deeper support tailored to specific fields for each specific audience. Specialized lectures by speakers are systematic, with appropriate scales for various audiences of KBERI. 

KBERI accompany scientists, young intellectuals, connect with businesses, and implement ideas, research projects into specific products through collaborative topics and projects.

Registration 

Based on the Law on Science and Technology dated June 18, 2013;

Based on Decree No. 08/2014/ND-CP dated January 27, 2014, of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of some provisions of the Law on Science and Technology;

Based on Decision No. 97/2009/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the issuance of the list of fields in which individuals are allowed to establish scientific and technological organizations;

Based on Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BKHCN dated March 31, 2014, of the Minister of Science and Technology guiding the conditions for the establishment and registration of activities of scientific and technological organizations, representative offices, and branches of scientific and technological organizations,

This charter regulates the organization and activities of the Knowledge Bridge Research Institute.

Article 1. Legal basis for operation

The Knowledge Bridge Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as KBERI) is a scientific and technological organization registered for operation by individual Ms. Phan Thi Hong Duc under the Law on Science and Technology dated June 18, 2013, Decree No. 08/2014/ND-CP dated January 27, 2014, of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of some provisions of the Law on Science and Technology and related documents, under the management of competent state agencies, Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BKHCN dated March 31, 2014, of the Ministry of Science and Technology guiding the conditions for the establishment and registration of activities of scientific and technological organizations, representative offices, and branches of scientific and technological organizations.

Full name: KNOWLEDGE BRIDGE RESEARCH INSTITUTE (KBERI)

Name in Vietnamese: VIỆN NGHIÊN CỨU NHỊP CẦU TRI THỨC (NCTT)

Headquarters: Level 9, ROX Tower, 180-192 Nguyen Cong Tru, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, District 1, HCMC, Vietnam.

KBERI may establish representative offices, branches when necessary. The establishment of representative offices, branches complies with legal regulations.
